"Furry Friends Art Studio" with Natalie Iacono & Luke Matthews | 7 yrs + | 4-5pm | Commencing Tuesday 28th April | 8-weeks | Term 2

Furry Friends Art Studio

An 8-week afternoon program where young artists build core drawing, painting and sculpting skills by creating artworks inspired by their pet or favourite animals.

Across the term, participants learn observation and proportion, explore texture and colour with watercolour and acrylic, and develop confidence through mixed media techniques.

The program finishes with a hands-on 3D animal sculpture project using clay and other embellishments.

$245 8-weeks includes GST and all art materials

Workshops run from 4-5pm Tuesday in the Garage Studio at Bluebird House 150 Swanston Street, Geelong
Dates: Tuesday 28th April, 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th May 2nd, 9th and 16th June Term 2 2026

Bookings are non-refundable but, should you be unable to attend, your place can be transferred to a friend. Please contact us if you should need to transfer your booking.

NDIS Participants: If this student will be using funds from an NDIS plan. Please contact sarahmoore@bluebirdfoundationinc.org.au for enrolment and an invoice exclusive of GST.

Please note: This workshop requires a minimum number of participants to run. In the unlikely event that we don't get this number of participants, we'll cancel the class and fully refund you and inform you via email, please watch your email a few days prior to the class.


Natalie Iacono

Natalie Iacono is a local creative with experience in primary school teaching, Steiner education, and permaculture, and a certificate in creative arts therapy. During summer she loves drawing under big shady trees, and building sandcastles with her niece and nephew.

Luke Matthews

Luke Matthews is an artist and educator with experience in primary arts and as a support worker in the disability space. During summer he loves going to the beach with his kids.
