Teen Studio Workshop – 4-Week Trial Program
A creative space to land, explore, and grow
The Teen Studio Workshop is a supportive, welcoming space for young creatives to work on their own projects—whether that’s drawing, painting, illustration, or mixed media. Over four weeks, participants are invited to settle into a relaxed studio environment, create alongside like-minded peers, and build confidence in their artistic voice.
Guided by artist and mentor Mel, teens will have access to gentle encouragement, technique tips, and help navigating creative roadblocks. Mel will be on hand to offer one-on-one support as needed, while still giving participants the freedom to follow their own ideas.
Each week begins with a simple creative warm-up to spark imagination and switch on the artistic mind. From there, the focus of the session grows from what the group is most interested in—skills development, experimenting with materials, refining techniques, or building a folio of work.
Perfect for teens who:
Want dedicated studio time to work on personal projects
Enjoy creating alongside other young artists
Are looking for guidance, encouragement, and skill development
Hope to begin or strengthen an art portfolio
Join us for four weeks of creativity, connection, and space to explore who you are as an artist.
If this 4-week trial gains momentum and has the interest we will offer the workshop as a term long program. Spread the word!
Workshops will run 5:15pm - 6:15pm Thursdays at Bluebird House 150 Swanston Street, Geelong
Thursday 12th, 19th, 26th February and 5th March Term One (4-weeks)
