"Furry Friends Painting" with Natalie Iacono & Luke Matthews | 7 yrs + | 9:30am - 1:30pm | Tuesday 14 April | School Holiday Program

Celebrate your furry friend in this hands-on creative workshop. Participants will learn step-by-step drawing and painting techniques to create a portrait of their pet using a reference photo.

We’ll begin by sketching simple shapes and line work, then gradually build colour, tone, and shadow to bring each portrait to life. This supportive session focuses on observation, creative expression, and enjoying the process of making.

Perfect for young animal lovers who enjoy drawing and painting.

Participants are encouraged to bring a clear printed photo of their pet.

Please bring your lunch and water bottle, dress for messy art.
$95 includes GST. All materials provided.

Bookings are non-refundable but, should you be unable to attend, your place can be transferred to a friend. Please contact us if you should need to transfer your booking.

NDIS Participants: If this student will be using funds from an NDIS plan. Please contact sarahmoore@bluebirdfoundationinc.org.au for enrolment and an invoice exclusive of GST.

Please note: This workshop requires a minimum number of participants to run. In the unlikely event that we don't get this number of participants, we'll cancel the class and fully refund you and inform you via email, please watch your email a few days prior to the class.


Natalie Iacono

Natalie Iacono is a local creative with experience in primary school teaching, Steiner education, and permaculture, and a certificate in creative arts therapy. During summer she loves drawing under big shady trees, and building sandcastles with her niece and nephew.

Luke Matthews

Luke Matthews is an artist and educator with experience in primary arts and as a support worker in the disability space. During summer he loves going to the beach with his kids.
