Jam for Refugees: Exclusive Launch Event

A heartwarming evening of music, film, and community as Bluebird presents a special program to launch Jam for Refugees 2025 - raising funds and awareness in support of refugees living in Geelong.

This special event, presented by Bluebird Foundation, celebrates the resilience and hope of local refugee artists and features:

  • NORTH Children’s Choir

  • Award-winning short animated film Pipi Thay Too, created by Karen and Karenni refugee women

  • Award-winning short film People Like You by emerging filmmaker Kiko Wayne Jr

  • A dynamic live set from Baraka the Kid, blending beats and bold truth

  • Q&A with the talented artists

Plus, renowned social researcher and author Hugh Mackay will share a special video message to officially launch the Jam for Refugees 2025 program of events.
