"Sew & Style: Winter PJs" with Simone Amethyst | Teen/Adults | 6:30pm - 8:30pm | Commences Wednesday 6 May | Term 2
Join us for a cosy midweek sewing workshop and create your very own custom-fit flannelette pyjamas to keep you warm all winter long.
In this 8-week course, we’ll spend the first two weeks building foundational sewing skills (or refreshing skills if you’re a little rusty). From there, you’ll dive into creating your PJ set, guided step-by-step through measuring, cutting, sewing seams, creating waistbands, and finishing buttonholes.
Use one of our sewing machines and overlocker, or bring your own machine if you’d prefer to learn on it.
What’s included:
• Use of sewing machines and overlocker
• Expert guidance from Simone Amethyst
• One style of flannelette fabric provided
• A welcoming evening with like-minded adults
You’re also welcome to bring your own fabric and buttons if you’d like a different style - this will be discussed during the first two weeks of class.
Slow down midweek, learn practical sewing skills, and leave with a handmade pair of cosy PJ’s you’ll be proud to wear.
This workshop is designed for beginners to intermediate skills level. This class is also open to 15 yrs + teens and young adults who would like to further their sewing skills.
$265 includes GST and flannelette material/buttons.
Workshops will run 6:30pm - 8:30pm 6, 13, 20, 27 May and 3, 10, 17 and 24 June 2026
