"Felt Christmas Decorations" with Bec Wilson | ADULTS | 1:30 - 4pm Sunday | 23rd November 2025

Get in the festive mood and learn dry needle felting techniques to create ornaments to adorn your tree or gift to loved ones for Christmas.

Warm up with a small felted toadstool to learn the dry needle technique, enjoying festive afternoon tea and some Christmas tunes with other craft lovers.

Then, build on your new skills and felt your own design, perhaps a tree, rabbit, fox, or another Christmas-inspired friend or anything you like!

This workshop is open to absolute beginners and those who’d like to have some more practice.

All materials will be supplied, and you will take home your own needle to continue your felting adventure.

  • Friendly instruction from an experienced felter

  • Festive afternoon tea

  • Needle, foam block and wool to make two ornaments

  • Tea, Coffee, Hot Chocolate and afternoon tea provided

  • An afternoon with like-minded creatives and lovers of all things Christmas!

Bookings are non-refundable but, should you be unable to attend, your place can be transferred to a friend. Please contact us if you should need to transfer your booking.

Our guidelines have been informed by the Victorian Department of Health. All participants will be required to adhere to Bluebird Foundation’s COVIDSafe Plan.

NDIS Participants: If this student will be using funds from an NDIS plan. Please contact sarahmoore@bluebirdfoundationinc.org.au for enrolment and an invoice exclusive of GST.

This workshop requires a minimum number of participants to run. In the unlikely event that we don't get this number of participants, we'll cancel the class and fully refund you and inform you via email

 

BEC WILSON

Bec has always enjoyed making, drawing and painting and found her love of felting as a way to unwind with a good cup of tea. Her whimsical style is inspired by her love of gardening and her four children and their love of the outdoors, rabbits, foxes, sunflowers and fairies.


Bec values her local community and recently led the Zineverleigh festival, a celebration of creative illustration and Zines held in Inverleigh.
