Character Illustration

Bring your characters to life in this fun and imaginative drawing program with artist Melissa O'Shea. Inspired by anime, cartoons, comics, and popular character design styles, young artists will learn how to create expressive faces, dynamic poses, and unique personalities through drawing.

Across eight weeks, participants will build their illustration skills step-by-step while exploring character development, storytelling, colour, and creative techniques. Whether they're passionate about manga, animated films, graphic novels, or inventing their own worlds, this workshop encourages confidence, creativity, and artistic growth in a supportive studio environment.

Perfect for young creatives who love drawing and dream of designing their own memorable characters.
