BOYS STREET ART WORKSHOP is an exciting hands on program that teaches the skills behind street art techniques from traditional spray-can lettering, graphic murals and stencil techniques.

Cam Plapp is an accomplished artist and school teacher with a wide repertoire of skills ranging from large scale murals to public exhibitions to commercial designs.

Workshops run from 4:30pm - 6pm Mondays at Bluebird House (Cnr Carr & Swanston Streets, South Geelong), commencing 9th October until 11th December during Term Four.

Workshop Outcomes:

  • Drawing inspiration from various artists and disciplines

  • Concept development

  • Drawing skills

  • Spray-can techniques

  • Stencils

  • Creating canvas artworks using street-art mediums

  • Guided public outcomes, using networks such as The Powerhouse Street Art Gallery

  • Potential group exhibitions

Once synonymous with vandalism, street art has officially gone mainstream and is now recognised as a valid contemporary art form. Students in this program are encouraged to embrace their inner ‘Banksy’ and learn various skills and techniques to create visually dynamic street art.

With over 20 years of artistic experience, Cam’s workshops provide a safe, fun and exciting environment that aims to promote creativity and innovation.
