Learn how to create your own augmented reality artwork, inspired by the Drawn Together exhibition.

Augmented reality art is a relatively new phenomenon but has been creating waves throughout the world in places like New York’s Museum of Modern Art and the British Museum. When a smart phone is pointed at the artwork, the screen comes alive as art, audio and animation combine to tell stories in a unique way.

Laura Alice is a Geelong-based artist who creates soulful, contemplative paintings and street art.

Her works are often both playful and serene, exploring an inner world of archetypes, myth and the Divine. She paints from the heart, finding her inspiration in the mystic philosophers, children’s storybooks and folklore.

She studied Creative Arts at Melbourne University, and since then has had many solo and group exhibitions in Australia and New Zealand, won awards, and been creative director and mentor for a large range of community arts projects across Geelong and Melbourne.

She also loves reading fantasy books, performing poetry, drinking coffee with her husband Jono and hanging out with her rad little boy, Joa.
